To cater to newbies joining Assault for the first time, I have developed a comprehensive site for your reference. League details and prescribed deck listings will all be consolidated here.

The deck listings, however, will require a little more time before it will be completely updated. Hope you peeps can be patient and understand that it’s a HECKUVALOT of work.

To those of you who are unfamiliar with Assault, it is a Closed Tournament for The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game. It was developed within our little card-playing community in 2004 and based on a point scoring league system. We hope to kick off the event this coming August. So until then, interested parties may still register.

Greetings and salutations, fanboys. This is The Palantir speaking. The rumours are true and your eyes deceive you not… Assault is coming back!

Law has recently recruited two newbies into our world of TCG… and from what I have heard, these guys pick things up pretty quick. Once again, we are blessed with players!

So let this be a shoutout to all you veterans out there! Let me know if you are interested in participating and I will start planning. We are looking at launching the series this coming June or July.

To sign off, I shall leave you with this gentle reminder…

Think. Play. Be.

Dropped by Darren’s place with Curly for some beers and a pizza dinner. The initial plan was to enjoy a night of good ol’ fashioned Trilogy TCG after our meal. But due to the overwhelming combo of booze and mozzarella cheese fuckin’ with our brains, we decided to chillout and just settle for a simple Fellowship of the Ring game. Well, this simple 3-player game with straight-forward decks took us nearly two hours to complete. In the past, less than an hour was suffice.

Sigh. It’s been so frickin’ long since we’ve had a decent TCG session. Hell, it’s been so frickin’ long since we’ve had anything…
