I have a heart.

The Android watched Iron Man yesterday on a hot and humid afternoon. Both Lin Yee and The Android went into the cinema with zero expectations and came out quite pleasantly surprised. The Android would have to say that this is his favourite Marvel Comic adaptation to date.

Robert Downey Jr. played the role of Tony Stark brilliantly and Terence Howard was excellent as James Rhodes, the future War Machine. Not too heavy on action and adequate on character development. Stylishly done indeed.

Die-hard fanboys should stay till the end of the credits for a very important clue of things to come in the near future.

It's a BONG!

Caught the sequel to the 2004 stoner movie with Sam, Shan and Lin Yee last night.

This time round, it ain’t much of a stoner movie, but more of a Please-Don’t-Hate-America movie with stoners in it. Through the political overtones, the movie still had its moments (read: boobs, beavers, blunts and bongs) and there were adequate laughs to go around. However, for a movie that took nearly four years to continue its story-telling, The Android would have to say that the wait came as quite a disappointment. The Android would suggest that you wait for the DVD instead.

Oh… and Neil Patrick Harris returns as himself.

Need a shave?

Jerry’s birthday was briefly celebrated with a somewhat rushed meal at Billy Bombers’, followed by an evening movie at The Cathay.

Tim Burton’s latest directorial effort is a musical, based upon the 1973 play The String of Pearls and starring Oscar Best Actor Nominee, Johnny Depp. The Android speaks of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street – a macabre tale of how vengeance can overwhelm and eventually blind a person.

Poor Jerry was traumatized after the movie. It’s a good thing The Android hates pies and has no need to visit a barber, or he might be traumatized too. Hahahaha! Oh wait… there was this one particular bit.

I FEEEEEEL YOUUUUUU, JOAAAAANA!

*Shudder*
