Wickham Street’s first official public gig at Against The Wall last Saturday (co-organised with Midnite Rockers) was a success! Well, almost a success if it weren’t for the screwed-up sound system they had there. Yet, it would never have been close to where it came to be, without the strong support of all you beautiful people who bothered to show up.

The Android would personally like to extend his deepest gratitude (in no order of merit) to Law, Ling, Curly, Clara, Cain, Tasha, Ginny, Sue, Eugene, Yeang Chyn and the wonderful humanoids from Osmosis Interactive (and Jerry), for taking time off their precious weekend to come support us. Luv you all deep deep.

Kudos to Zen Tao as well, for taking most of these awesome shots of the band you see below. You might also wanna check out some of the photos Kahong took. For those who missed the show… you might wanna visit YouTube.

The Android now hopes to get some honest feedback from you. Will you turn up for another Against The Wall gig in future?

Wickham Street will make their debut public performance this July 14 at Bisous’ (the last gig at a kopi tiam doesn’t count), from 9pm till late! Shan’s hip hop & rap outfit, Midnite Rockers will also be doing their thang, so you won’t be just pissed off by indie rock the entire night. Hahahahaa! Bottled drinks are 1-for-1 all night long at $13 (price subject to change) and the laydees are also entitled to a free welcome drink.

Do check out Shan’s fierce publicity for the event. You may click here for a larger view.

Be sure to come down, make some noise and lend us your support!
