Food

The Android went to eat… AGAIN.

To tie in with the Deepavali festive spirit, Yeang Chyn and Zeyi suggested dining at Masala Art, a North Indian restaurant at the Peninsula Plaza basement. As Yeang Chyn has been to the place several times, he ensured that we only had the good stuff (he vehemently advise against trying their buffet and breads).

We ordered a portion of saffron rice, a portion of mutton briyani, cottage cheese with spinach, butter chicken and some mushroom thingy with chick peas. And of course, everything was delicious, spicy and creamy.

However, as with most North Indian food, their portions are extremely deceptive. What may look like small little containers of curry are enough to bloat you up. DO NOT OVER-ORDER!

If you’ve just got your paycheck and would like a cozy place to splurge dine well, you can try Mag’s Wine Kitchen at 86 Circular Road.

The Android ordered their premium starter – the homemade foie gras terrine, and for the main course, indulged in the succulent lamb rack. Both were excellent stuff, and one can almost feel the amount of love put into preparing the delicious food.

The Android paid S$63 to feel the love (without any wine).
