Food

The Android would like to apologise for the recent lack of posts. He was busy monitoring land and buying soldiers for unappreciative people who incidentally, also complained about the recent lack of posts. So here’s another post on food… another post on Korean food.

This time, the venue was Shillawon at Suntec. All-you-can-eat ala-carte buffet at S$19.90 from Mondays to Thursdays.

The marinated meats were tasty but nothing different from other Korean BBQ places. Don’t bother with the sliced pork belly – it looks good but fails to deliver on taste and texture. You should give their ox-tail soup a miss too – typical tasteless Korean boiled water. Ah Ly claims that the kimchi soup is good, though.

Overall, the food here is definitely value-for-money… if you are hungry, not picky about food and cannot think of anywhere else to eat from Mondays to Thursdays.

Food

So as not to appear too Pro-Japanese, the foodie gang decided to give Korean a try this week at Square2 Mall.

We ordered some staples like Bibimbap and Chicken Bulgogi. But the worthy mentions were the Ginseng Chicken Soup and Beef Short Ribs. The soup was one of the few Korean clear soups I had with TASTE. The ribs were juicy, tender and extremely flavoursome. A pity that the portions were a little on the small side and we ended up ordering double.

Aunty Killer

Everyone’s favourite bambino is back!

Tinyfoot is standing on his own and looking all suave in this photo, complete with neatly combed hair and Polo Ralph Laurens. Currently 11 months old with a couple of weeks to go before his first birthday, this little dude is already checking out the chickas and quite the chick-magnet himself.

Just look at that mug. Everyone still wanna pinch them chubby cheeks.
