Amusement

The Android just realised that the mischievous Ah Ly has been posting less-than-flattering pictures of The Android in his drunken stupor on her blog. As such, The Android feels an extreme obligation to return the favour with interest.

Below is an adorable little audio clip of Ah Ly doing her cover version of Puffy’s 恋のエチュード in the office.

So now the current score stands at Ah Ly 1, Ah Heng 1.

Peace.

Food

Probably the only perk from becoming another year older is getting the chance to eat all the yummy food. Pops wanted to give a dinner treat tonight. So The Android did not hesitate to suggest Aburiya, the yakiniku restaurant at Robertson Quay.

We ordered many plates of marinated meat and vegetables and threw them into the grill. The Wagyu ribeye, short ribs, finger ribs, ox tongue, salted pork belly, miso pork belly and shitake mushrooms were really awesome. Yet, the true novelty lies in their grill, which is fired by charcoal. Charcoal is the only way to go if you dig flavoursome, grilled meat!

A wise man once said that all meat and no veggies will make you shit rocks the next day… so you have to try some of their salad as well. The Android personally liked the spinach salad (a lot) and peeps who dig the sour stuff might want to order the cabbage salad.

Food

Due to the fact that The Android is suffering from a MAJOR hangover from last night’s RIDICULOUS tekan drinking session at Ballymoon’s, The Android will try to keep today’s post short.

To mock celebrate The Android aging another year yesterday, Ah Ly suggested eating at this really old Russian steak house run by grumpy old Hainanese uncles and aunties. That’s right… The Android speaks of Shashlik Restaurant on the 6th level of Far East Shopping Centre.

The Android had the borsche soup, the garlic steak, the baked Alaska and a swig of the Russian coffee. Everything was delicious. Everything was great. Everything turned to puke after the drinking session.
