With the Brisbane Broncos sucking so bad in the 2009 season, The Android decided to divert his attention to anime footy instead.
The plot revolves around a non-assertive high school freshman named Sena Kobayakawa, whose only remarkable physical abilities are his running speed and dodging techniques – the result of a life spent complying with the demands of bullies. He quickly catches the eye of the high school’s American Football team captain Yoichi Hiruma, and gets forced to join the Deimon Devil Bats as running back.
Fantastic story about underdogs battling the odds to come out tops. Extremely entertaining and filled with hilarious moments.
